"Following discussions between the members of the League Management Board, the following has been agreed in response to the current Covid-19 virus pandemic:
The entire League programme and associated cup competitions will be suspended until at least Sunday 31st May 2020 (this includes matches scheduled to be played on that date).
We have taken into account advice and directives issued by Central Government and the England & Wales Cricket Board. We all wish to support the stringent measures being put in place nationally on a daily basis to help combat this awful virus, and bring it to a conclusion as quick as possible.
As a League we will continue to monitor the situation and issues updates when possible on a regular basis. Decisions on promotion and relegation will be taken in the coming weeks, and will include consultation with clubs before any action is taken.
We also strongly advise everyone to follow the recommendations of the ECB this week in relation to suspending cricket-based activity, as well as the advice of the NHS in preventing the spread of the virus. There is a mass of information in the public domain that is extremely useful and arguably vital. The NHS website is a good place to start for general help and advice https://www.nhs.uk/"
