Wind causes damage..pavilion end sight screen became a victim of the hurricane. Sundays storm blew the sight screen clean over ...but damage was limited as it fell on to a soft outfield. Getting it upright ready for the 2nd XI fixture demanded various skills by the ground staff.
A 4by 4 & the outfield mower worked  a balancing act over the fence to ensure no serious damage was done ...the mole man looked on as the task was completed by the multi skilled last of the summer wine boys!
Pro coach group from yorkshire cc came to the Park for the 5th year...with 20 juniors booked in the weather played fair to ensure all had a great time whilst improving their skills with the aid of 2 enthusiastic coaches.
Over the past 15 weeks the dedicated Park coaches on Friday evenings have challenged the juniors Under 11s with regular skills tests . The various awards should be made by the end of August ...a date to be confirmed shortly ...
