This week the secretary received a letter from an opposition supporter, praising the clubs facilities. The letter must echo what many other visitors to the ground think, yet never express. The letter, which can be read below, shows what all the hard work of our volunteers, in particular the secretary himself, is for. This should be a huge boost to all in the club.
The secretaries comments were "I am v
ery proud
to see that anyone would take the time & effort to put pen to paper in
these times of dizzy technology. This is great (
unsolicited) recognition for all of our 10 off the field volunteers
who work so hard each week to present the ground & facilities to such a
standard.
PS. I did
ring & thank him for his generous words. Its a pleasant
change as sec to receive such."
