The Foss Evening League team travelled to Stockton & Hopgrove on Wednesday night for a top of the table clash. Londesborough batted first on a very warm evening and started well, putting on 74 for the first wicket until James Beevers (44) was dismissed by Athula. Michael Drewery (44*) joined Lucas Stephenson (62*) at the crease and the pair remained unbeaten, bringing the total to 154-1 from their 18 overs.
Stockton set about the target in ernest. Skipper Kerrison was the danger man with the bat, but was finally dismissed for 56, caught by skipper Joel Taylor off the bowling of Tom Griffiths. Griffiths (2-16) took another wicket before Stockton ran out of overs on 117-7.
The win, making it 5 out of 6 for the Park, took the team 5 points clear at the top of the table with one game in hand.
