Londesborough Park Cricket Club

Londesborogh park, sponsored by Wise Solicitors of Market Weighton, beat Bishopthorpe in the Foss evening league to secure a much needed win to improve their lowly league position. 

Bishopthorpe made 109 for 9 in 18 overs with Scott Clapham 21 and Ian Holmes 36 top scoring. For Londesborogh Jack Sowersby took 3 for 18 in 4 overs well backed up by Alex Varley taking 2 for 12 in his 3 over spell. 

In reply Londesborogh made 114 for 4 with 5 balls to spare with James Beevers making a fine 49 not out backed up by Will Stephenson 30 and James Hanley 21. P Mercer produced Bishopthorpes best bowling with 3 for 6 from 2 overs.
